Can you feel the spirit?  Elianna, you look good! Last night's show in Louisville, Kentucky, marked Bruce Springsteen's 4th consecutive performance night.  On Wednesday night, he performed in Rochester, New York, a day later than originally planned due to Super Storm Sandy.  On Thursday night, he played his regularly scheduled gig at State College, Pennsylvania.  Then, on Friday evening he participated in the "Come Together" telethon in New York City to benefit the American Red Cross .  When was the last time Bruce played 4 consecutive days in 4 different cities?  Let's just say, it doesn't happen often.  Did Bruce look tired?  Did he look exhausted?  Or was he, in the words on Louisville's favorite son, floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee? ok, rhetorical question. In late 2005, I established an associates account with amazon, going primarily from my discography page. Any amazon.com sales generated by people navigating to amazon from my site generates commissions, that amazon eventually sends my way. As I noted at that time, anything that comes my way from amazon.com will be turned over to charity, currently on a semi-annual basis, doubled by a match from me. All selected charities will be from the set of charities that Bruce Springsteen supports, that I have documented in substantial part at http://bruce.orel.ws/charities.html. During the first half of 2012, a total of 157 items were sold by amazon off links from the site. Total commissions for the quarter were $179.12. With rounding and my personal match, the donation+match is $350.00.
